Captain Nathan A. Kilgore is Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 420, University of Minnesota, Duluth. He is responsible for teaching aerospace studies courses and serves as the Education Officer and Recruiting Officer for the detachment.
Captain Kilgore is from White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bethel University and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant from Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 410, University of St Thomas, in St Paul, Minnesota. Captain Kilgore has served in a variety of roles as an intelligence officer at the squadron, group, wing, and MAJCOM levels. He most recently served as the Senior Intelligence Officer for the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, and was responsible for intelligence support to approximately 4,000 Airmen who operate, maintain, and secure Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), ensuring strategic deterrence and national security objectives.
